A collision led to Avcilar getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mehmet Anıl Düden hit a great ball. Deniz Başar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bekir Özal in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Avcilar's Mehmet Anıl Düden ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Seyfi Temel. Seyfi Temel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lütfü Demirman in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deniz Başar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Seyfi Temel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rd minute, Avcilar's Arslan Çınar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Hacı Akatay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Seyfi Temel made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Avcilar's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfü Demirman came free, but Deniz Başar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arslan Çınar made a kick off. A collision led to Karakoyunlu getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ahmet Kutsi Tansan hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the game, Avcilar's Keramettin Gümüşcü nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seyfi Temel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 57 minutes into the match, Karakoyunlu's goal looked a bit too open when Keramettin Gümüşcü came free, but Seyfi Temel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göktürk Özbala's late challenge caught a Avcilar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göktürk Özbala helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Karakoyunlu's Göktürk Özbala got a free kick in the 58th minute. Seyfi Temel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arslan Çınar in the 59th minute of the match. Seyfi Temel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hacı Akatay in the 62nd minute of play. Bekir Özal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Deniz Başar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Lütfü Demirman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deniz Başar was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Hacı Akatay charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hacı Akatay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Hacı Akatay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
