But to his dismay, Vecdi Sayar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vahap Budak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fuat Koçarslanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İzzet Aras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Muammer Vefi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the KıRMıZı KaRTaLLaR ☾☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muammer Vefi couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Celal Yaruk in the 30th minute really tested Fuat Koçarslanoğlu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to KıRMıZı KaRTaLLaR ☾☆ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Şehzade Serkan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when İzzet Aras got free with Fuat Koçarslanoğlu in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fuat Koçarslanoğlu was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Vahap Budak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vahap Budak really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. If İzzet Aras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
