Ahmet Hasan Bender stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İzzet Aras's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Yavuz Selim Taşcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when İnanç Yeğin got free with Batur Neba in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Konyaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Vahap Budak came free, but Ahmet Hasan Bender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Yavuz Selim Taşcıoğlu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Batur Neba was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Kılıçalp Balkanlı fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Konyaspor's protests and gave Kılıçalp Balkanlı a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Konyaspor! In the 67th match minute, beyket FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saruhan Okatan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to beyket FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kamer Şahin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İnanç Yeğin in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Kamer Şahin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ahmet Hasan Bender didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for beyket FC. After 94 played minutes Konyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Atabek Onar. beyket FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
