After 14 played minutes AKYILDIZ FK got a freekick which was hit by İsrafil Başol. Şenol Cenap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkem Hançer in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to AKYILDIZ FK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nusrettin Mehdi hit a great ball. AKYILDIZ FK's Şenol Cenap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkem Hançer in the 24th minute of play. Ataol Tugal came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by AKYILDIZ FK's İsrafil Başol. But to his dismay, İsrafil Başol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Feyzullay Atatuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AKYILDIZ FK's Burhanettin Hatim got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AKYILDIZ FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mehmet Emin Aynacıoğlu in the 38th minute. İsrafil Başol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İsrafil Başol to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes AKYILDIZ FK got a freekick which was hit by Serdar Canol. In the 55th minute, Berkem Hançer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game İsrafil Başol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe's Ataol Tugal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fenerbahçe's Ataol Tugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burhanettin Hatim in the 71st minute of play. Şenol Cenap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkem Hançer in the 79th minute of the match. İsrafil Başol might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ataol Tugal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İsrafil Başol ran back to his position shaking his head. Berkem Hançer struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Şenol Cenap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe. Şenol Cenap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkem Hançer in the 91st minute of play. Burhanettin Hatim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fenerbahçe's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
