In the 12th match minute, Güngören was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Boran Koca to maneuver through the defense. Şanver Suhan made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ata Şemsi sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Şuğul Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Bilge Tekdoğan came free, but Harun Şenyurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harun Şenyurt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Bilge Tekdoğan went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Artun Visali came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Güngören fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artun Visali couldn't finish the play. Güngören's Mehmet Bilge Tekdoğan got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artun Visali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harun Şenyurt having to interfere. Fazıl Hüsnü Arpacı's late challenge caught a Şuğul Crew's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fazıl Hüsnü Arpacı helped the player get up and apologised. If Erberk Benlioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artun Visali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Artun Visali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harun Şenyurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Şuğul Crew's goalkeeper Harun Şenyurt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harun Şenyurt made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Mehmet Bilge Tekdoğan sent off a good shot on target. Şanver Suhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Haydar İlteber in the 76th minute of play. Mustafa Haydar İlteber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şanver Suhan having to interfere. Harun Şenyurt made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mehmet Bilge Tekdoğan sent off a good shot on target. Asaf Aras kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Mehmet Bilge Tekdoğan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harun Şenyurt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Artun Visali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artun Visali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Harun Şenyurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artun Visali in the 96th minute of play forced Şuğul Crew's goalkeeper Harun Şenyurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Güngören left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Şuğul Crew.
