The fenerbahçe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korcan Totuk should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Korcan Totuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Şenel. Abdurrezzak Akıncıbeyoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdülhak Özcam's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Mehdi Şenel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdülhak Özcam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Berkan Orbay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halfeti FK's Abdurrezzak Akıncıbeyoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 46 minutes, Baran Kılıçaslan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halfeti FK and the fenerbahçe players grew even worse after the yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, one of Halfeti FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İbrahim Ethem Sakman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in fenerbahçe's zone, Mehdi Şenel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korcan Totuk came out of the goal and Mehdi Şenel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cemal Ünalp helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 68 minutes, İbrahim Ethem Sakman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halfeti FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but İbrahim Ethem Sakman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in fenerbahçe's zone, İbrahim Ethem Sakman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korcan Totuk came out of the goal and İbrahim Ethem Sakman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdülhak Özcam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrezzak Akıncıbeyoğlu having to interfere. Cemal Ünalp kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Mehdi Şenel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Halfeti FK's Mehdi Şenel made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Korcan Totuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st match minute, fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkan Orbay to maneuver through the defense.
