After a defensive mix-up in Cibali's zone, Baskın Ilıca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atacan Toregün came out of the goal and Baskın Ilıca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baskın Ilıca struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Atacan Toregün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otlukbeli. Atacan Toregün made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aytaç Tarancı in the 13th minute. Atacan Toregün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baskın Ilıca in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Aytaç Tarancı notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cibali's Atacan Toregün. Atacan Toregün was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Selami Baldemir fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Otlukbeli's protests and gave Selami Baldemir a yellow card for diving instead. Selami Baldemir hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Baskın Ilıca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otlukbeli's supporters rose to their feet, but Baskın Ilıca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atacan Toregün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baskın Ilıca charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baskın Ilıca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baskın Ilıca hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Cibali's goalkeeper Atacan Toregün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aytaç Tarancı. A hard shot 35 in the game by Aytaç Tarancı from a close distance when the talented Atacan Toregün managed to make a qualified save. Cibali's players were relieved. In the 40th match minute, Otlukbeli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Birol Çoğun to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baskın Ilıca in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atacan Toregün saved Cibali from getting behind. A collision led to Cibali getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ziya Budaklı hit a great ball. Aytaç Tarancı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Atacan Toregün when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devlet Eryilmaz in the 48th minute of play forced Otlukbeli's goalkeeper Hurşit Perker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 54th minute, Hüseyin Can Zeren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cibali's Ziya Budaklı got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes, Otlukbeli's Arif Ahioğlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atacan Toregün came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Otlukbeli reached it. Atacan Toregün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baskın Ilıca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aytaç Tarancı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hidayet Türe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hurşit Perker having to make a save. Atacan Toregün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baskın Ilıca in the 85th minute of the match. Devlet Eryilmaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aytaç Tarancı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Otlukbeli's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
