Galatasaray's Göktan Özbekkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadim Zati in the 5th minute of play. Göktan Özbekkan stood somewhat misplaced when Kadim Zati came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. In the 13th minute Kadim Zati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan Özbekkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Göktuğ Ülke struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Göktan Özbekkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harem. The audience was convinced that Kadim Zati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göktan Özbekkan was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Ahmet Göktuğ Ülke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Göktan Özbekkan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Göktuğ Ülke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Göktan Özbekkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Çeliker Tolgan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çeliker Tolgan couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Ahmet Göktuğ Ülke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göktan Özbekkan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 34 minutes into the match, Harem's goal looked a bit too open when Çeliker Tolgan came free, but Ahmet Ziya Akyol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doruk Ayçetin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ahmet Ziya Akyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Ziya Akyol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doruk Ayçetin in the 40th minute of the match. Çeliker Tolgan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çeliker Tolgan in the 43rd minute of play forced Harem's goalkeeper Ahmet Ziya Akyol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Harem defense, Doruk Ayçetin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Ziya Akyol. The Harem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Ziya Akyol should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kadim Zati made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Harem's Ahmet Göktuğ Ülke made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Göktan Özbekkan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Ziya Akyol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çeliker Tolgan's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Harem's goalkeeper Ahmet Ziya Akyol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doruk Ayçetin. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Harem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korcan Harzemşah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harem's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Çeliker Tolgan 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. When Çeliker Tolgan came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Kadim Zati came free, but Göktan Özbekkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Kadim Zati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kadim Zati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vatan Temirkut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Ziya Akyol. Harem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kadim Zati scored 5-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Göktan Özbekkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
