EpcY FC's Derya Ülger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Dinç in the 9th minute of play. Onuralp Tunçboğa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Seyit Pınar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Alim Onaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derya Ülger was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Ömer Dinç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ömer Dinç really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Ömer Dinç took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Derya Ülger to make any attempt to save it. After 30 minutes, Cemal Karakan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hatay JK and the EpcY FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hatay JK's Cemal Karakan got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Dinç in the 33rd minute of play forced EpcY FC's goalkeeper Derya Ülger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baybars Bilginer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onuralp Tunçboğa in the 35th minute of play. Ömer Dinç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derya Ülger having to interfere. Baybars Bilginer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyit Pınar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, EpcY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyit Pınar to maneuver through the defense. Alim Onaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alim Onaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seyit Pınar made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Dinç in the 57th minute of play forced EpcY FC's goalkeeper Derya Ülger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seyit Pınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Bilginer having to interfere. Ömer Dinç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derya Ülger having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hatay JK's zone, Seyit Pınar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baybars Bilginer came out of the goal and Seyit Pınar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hatay JK's Ömer Dinç got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alim Onaran struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Derya Ülger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hatay JK. Onuralp Tunçboğa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Baybars Bilginer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute Ömer Dinç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derya Ülger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derya Ülger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alim Onaran in the 98th minute of play. Hatay JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
