An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Vefik Ilıcak in the 32nd minute of play forced Aydin's goalkeeper Mustafa Namık Atay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genco Başkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyami Kurceren in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Redbridge fc's Ahmet Vefik Ilıcak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Namık Atay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Redbridge fc's goalkeeper Genco Başkurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peyami Kurceren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erdi Uğurcan got free with Genco Başkurt in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Servet Dervişoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Redbridge fc were furious when Korhan Orkutay was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Abdulhamit Oktay shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Genco Başkurt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erdi Uğurcan went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Peyami Kurceren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
