Güralp Vahit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute İlker İzzet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahap Kandemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vahap Kandemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlker İzzet in the 18th minute of play. Vahap Kandemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlker İzzet in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Malmö FC's Esat Kocaker got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Mehmet Ediz Rical charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Ediz Rical the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mehmet Ediz Rical kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Onur Ali Demiralp during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Isparta booed when Malmö FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Ali Demiralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Numan Yoruk shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 39 minutes, İlker İzzet made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Malmö FC's Vahap Kandemir tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Isparta's İlker İzzet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vahap Kandemir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Güralp Vahit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Isparta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Onur Ali Demiralp made a kick off. After 55 minutes Isparta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gencal Uyaralp who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Malmö FC's corner Gencal Uyaralp fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olcay Orkun Pala quite easily take care of the ball. Güralp Vahit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Isparta's goal looked a bit too open when Onur Ali Demiralp came free, but Olcay Orkun Pala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Isparta's İlker İzzet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vahap Kandemir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If İlker İzzet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güralp Vahit struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Vahap Kandemir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isparta. Güralp Vahit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malmö FC! With a little luck, Malmö FC's Vahap Kandemir got control of the ball when İlker İzzet tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Isparta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malmö FC throughout the match.
