Cerrahpasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzonspor the free kick. Alişan Safvet kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Yılmaz Karun was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Cerrahpasa. Mustafa Emre Tur stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmet Harun Salat. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Mürsel Şerafeddin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerrahpasa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ahmet Kutsi Servet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Ozan İşbilir having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cerrahpasa defense, Ahmet Kutsi Servet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anıl Ozan İşbilir. The Cerrahpasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anıl Ozan İşbilir should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Ahmet Kutsi Servet notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cerrahpasa's Anıl Ozan İşbilir. Anıl Ozan İşbilir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tahsin Gürler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Mürsel Şerafeddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Harun Salat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tahsin Gürler struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Anıl Ozan İşbilir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor.

The wind increased when Ahmet Kutsi Servet made the kick off in the second half. Cerrahpasa's Anıl Ozan İşbilir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Kutsi Servet in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrahpasa's goalkeeper Anıl Ozan İşbilir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when Cerrahpasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Can Önen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Tahsin Gürler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Ozan İşbilir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Trabzonspor's Tahsin Gürler in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Cerrahpasa getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alişan Safvet hit a great ball. Tahsin Gürler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tahsin Gürler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Anıl Ozan İşbilir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd play minute Mürsel Şerafeddin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ahmet Harun Salat. 2-3. Cerrahpasa's Bircan Akçakıl got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Azmi Belek during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Azmi Belek kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Anıl Ozan İşbilir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kutsi Servet in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Tahsin Gürler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Tahsin Gürler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anıl Ozan İşbilir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Rahmi Zeyyat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anıl Ozan İşbilir. Cerrahpasa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rahmi Zeyyat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrahpasa's zone, Ahmet Kutsi Servet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anıl Ozan İşbilir came out of the goal and Ahmet Kutsi Servet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
