Turabi Demirağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mehmet Arif Hadim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, YAZAN F.C.'s Hüseyin Rahmi Kandemir got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ahmet Harun Salat. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahmi Zeyyat in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Arif Hadim saved YAZAN F.C. from getting behind. Mustafa Yaşar Tunçboğa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ahmet Harun Salat made a huge save. Mehmet Arif Hadim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kemalettin Savtur in the 91st minute of play. Ahmet Kutsi Servet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Arif Hadim having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Trabzonspor lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
