An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Turan Arısoy in the 22nd minute of play forced Gürsu's goalkeeper Salih Kemal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salih Kemal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birdal Kayı in the 23rd minute of the match. Tarık Adıgün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Engiay in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Turan Arısoy in the 29th minute of play forced Gürsu's goalkeeper Salih Kemal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Atıf Şemsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, AYAK FC's goalkeeper Tarık Adıgün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İsmail Cem Yiğit. In the 37th minute, Kamil Engiay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüseyin Turan Arısoy to make the kick off. AYAK FC's Tarık Adıgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsmail Cem Yiğit in the 85th minute of play. Salih Kemal made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Birdal Kayı sent off a good shot on target. Birdal Kayı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Salih Kemal made a huge save.
