Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaffar Ongunsu in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarık Adıgün prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Romalex City FC's goalkeeper Doruk Tüney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdülhak Koray. A collision led to Romalex City FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cemalettin Karadeniz hit a great ball. Tarık Adıgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaffar Ongunsu in the 28th minute of the match. AYAK FC's Tarık Adıgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saruhan Sahat in the 31st minute of play. Gaffar Ongunsu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarık Adıgün. Tarık Adıgün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Abdülhak Koray dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Doruk Tüney, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gaffar Ongunsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romalex City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaffar Ongunsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarık Adıgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orhan Sancar hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Romalex City FC booed when AYAK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birdal Kayı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarık Adıgün stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaffar Ongunsu's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Romalex City FC booed when AYAK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Sancar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Turan Arısoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Doruk Tüney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaffar Ongunsu in the 85th minute of play forced AYAK FC's goalkeeper Tarık Adıgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gaffar Ongunsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarık Adıgün was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Melik Yunus scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tarık Adıgün, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
