But to his dismay, Zeynel Atabey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Babür Baykut hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Vahap Çağili fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darbeli Matkap's protests and gave Vahap Çağili a yellow card for diving instead. Seyfettin Yekta's shot from long distance in the 26th minute was not bad at all, but Darbeli Matkap's Batu Samir knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 30 played minutes Silivri kartalları got a freekick which was hit by Gazanfer Yalkı. Zeynel Atabey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Ruhi Mithat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fazlı Özguc. Silivri kartalları's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruhi Mithat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fazlı Özguc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeynel Atabey in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Darbeli Matkap's Zeynel Atabey made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fazlı Özguc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeynel Atabey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fazlı Özguc having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeynel Atabey to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silivri kartalları's goalkeeper Fazlı Özguc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Darbeli Matkap's Vahap Çağili ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fazlı Özguc. Fazlı Özguc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 66th minute, Zeynel Atabey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruhi Mithat got free with Fazlı Özguc in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Haşim Okgüç sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Silivri kartalları's Fazlı Özguc didn't even have to move. Ruhi Mithat was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ruhi Mithat hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Zeynel Atabey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Darbeli Matkap's Zeynel Atabey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fazlı Özguc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Yetkiner Kurtaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darbeli Matkap's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yetkiner Kurtaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Darbeli Matkap defense, Hürkan Okdağ kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batu Samir. The Darbeli Matkap fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batu Samir should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Zeynel Atabey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Darbeli Matkap booed when Silivri kartalları was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazanfer Yalkı didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Silivri kartalları fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Darbeli Matkap were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
