Zeynel Atabey started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Alacakaya getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Raik Kadrican hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Alacakaya's goal looked a bit too open when Zeynel Atabey came free, but Aydın Sökmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Darbeli Matkap's Haşim Okgüç broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alacakaya's Aydın Sökmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeynel Atabey in the 14th minute of play. Ruhi Mithat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Aydın Sökmen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeynel Atabey in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aydın Sökmen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Cihan Özinal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alacakaya's Aydın Sökmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Alacakaya from getting a goal against them. If Ruhi Mithat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Zeynel Atabey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aydın Sökmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Darbeli Matkap's Ruhi Mithat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aydın Sökmen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adem Orbay to make the kick off. Aydın Sökmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruhi Mithat, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Aydın Sökmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeynel Atabey in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Darbeli Matkap's Zeynel Atabey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aydın Sökmen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruhi Mithat in the 78th minute of play forced Alacakaya's goalkeeper Aydın Sökmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeynel Atabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aydın Sökmen having to interfere. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alacakaya's goalkeeper Aydın Sökmen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Darbeli Matkap had played much better football throughout.
