Duragan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denizli the free kick. The supporters of Denizli booed when Duragan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fuat Öğeturk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Denizli's goal looked a bit too open when Tolga Coşkun came free, but Mehmet Halis Berksu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fuat Öğeturk struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Mehmet Halis Berksu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duragan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolga Coşkun in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Halis Berksu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nejat Vefalı kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tolga Coşkun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Necip Sefa mouthed his way into the referee's book.
