The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 47 minutes, Batu Cem Tümer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemah JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batu Cem Tümer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gündüz Hunalp to make the kick off. In the 58th minute of the match Acun Ülgen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulhamit Ünsevin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tugay Özek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batu Cem Tümer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulhamit Ünsevin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gündüz Hunalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zekeriya Buyruk was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Kemah JK's Batu Cem Tümer got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alkan Bektaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Zekeriya Buyruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gündüz Hunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
