Muharrem İcabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zikri Ulus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Arif Malkoç kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Şerafettin Başöz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hüsamettin Uskan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hüsamettin Uskan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Beylikova fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Tarsus SK. Zülfikar Ilgaz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ergincan Taygar. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Beylikova's zone, Süruri Ömürcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergincan Taygar came out of the goal and Süruri Ömürcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şerafettin Başöz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ergincan Taygar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarsus SK. Arif Tugay Kamer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Süruri Ömürcan in the 47th minute of play forced Beylikova's goalkeeper Ergincan Taygar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Tarsus SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şerafettin Başöz to make the kick off. The Tarsus SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muharrem İcabi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şerafettin Başöz in the 74th minute of play forced Beylikova's goalkeeper Ergincan Taygar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muharrem İcabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Tugay Kamer in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Beylikova's goal looked a bit too open when Şerafettin Başöz came free, but Ergincan Taygar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Süruri Ömürcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarsus SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Süruri Ömürcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ergincan Taygar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beylikova's Ergincan Taygar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Beylikova from getting a goal against them. Şerafettin Başöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergincan Taygar having to interfere. The supporters of Tarsus SK booed when Beylikova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadri Özok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarsus SK's Süruri Ömürcan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee gave Beylikova a penalty, 93 minutes into the game.
