With a couple of smart ball manuevers Süruri Ömürcan in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Temel Yezid saved GOK MAVİLİLER from getting behind. Hakkı Devrim Yankı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oktay Yaşer took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muharrem İcabi. Muharrem İcabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Süruri Ömürcan charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Süruri Ömürcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Hakkı Devrim Yankı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes Tarsus SK got a freekick which was hit by Neşat Yumus. Asım Öktuna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Muharrem İcabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tarsus SK's Neşat Yumus got a free kick in the 34th minute. GOK MAVİLİLER's Asım Öktuna got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tarsus SK's Şerafettin Başöz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakkı Devrim Yankı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Muharrem İcabi having to make a save. 47 minutes into the match, GOK MAVİLİLER's goal looked a bit too open when Süruri Ömürcan came free, but Temel Yezid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Temel Yezid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şerafettin Başöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Şerafettin Başöz took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Temel Yezid. Temel Yezid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hakkı Devrim Yankı made a kick off. Şerafettin Başöz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oktay Yaşer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muharrem İcabi having to interfere. Oktay Yaşer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Temel Yezid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şerafettin Başöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, one of Tarsus SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tarsus SK. The referee gave GOK MAVİLİLER a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hakkı Devrim Yankı, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tarsus SK's Muharrem İcabi. 2-2. Oktay Yaşer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muharrem İcabi having to interfere. GOK MAVİLİLER were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tarsus SK to leave the ground with a draw.
