Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Muharrem İcabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedih Özdener in the 11th minute of the match. Muharrem İcabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayri Şennur in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Göktas's Bedih Özdener nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Muharrem İcabi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Süruri Ömürcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Gökalp Ayaydın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şerafettin Başöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selmi Baybars during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tarsus SK booed when Göktas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selmi Baybars didn't get a good kick on the ball. Süruri Ömürcan struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ahmet Gökalp Ayaydın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarsus SK. In the 24th match minute, Göktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selmi Baybars to maneuver through the defense. Tarsus SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zülfikar Ilgaz in the 27th minute. The corner ended in Zülfikar Ilgaz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Göktas's Ahmet Gökalp Ayaydın did a great save. Ahmet Gökalp Ayaydın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süruri Ömürcan in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Bedih Özdener made a precise shot to the right of Muharrem İcabi. Tarsus SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Muharrem İcabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedih Özdener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes of play, Göktas's Ömer Sadi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Muharrem İcabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Selmi Baybars hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Tarsus SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Göktas were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hayri Şennur to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Gökalp Ayaydın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şerafettin Başöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muharrem İcabi made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Bedih Özdener sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Göktas's Derya Yadigar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes, Tarsus SK's Zülfikar Ilgaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Gökalp Ayaydın came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tarsus SK reached it. After 68 minutes, Bora Han Karataş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarsus SK and the Göktas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Tarsus SK got a freekick which was hit by Bora Han Karataş. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bedih Özdener during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Göktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedih Özdener to maneuver through the defense. After 72 minutes of play Tarsus SK's Bora Han Karataş was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Göktas's Bedih Özdener got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Süruri Ömürcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ertuğrul Savgat hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Mutlu Canal, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Süruri Ömürcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarsus SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Süruri Ömürcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Gökalp Ayaydın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Hayri Şennur took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Muharrem İcabi to make any attempt to save it. 90 minutes into the match, Tarsus SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hayri Şennur came free, but Muharrem İcabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st of the match, Hayri Şennur tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Muharrem İcabi got in the way and made a wonderful save. Göktas's Hayri Şennur got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göktas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
