Arif Buğra Tefhim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barışcan Onat in the 5th minute of play. Barışcan Onat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Barışcan Onat made a precise shot to the right of Arif Buğra Tefhim. Fenerbahçe Sk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Hıdır Çetinalp notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fenerbahçe Sk's Arif Buğra Tefhim. Arif Buğra Tefhim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Barışcan Onat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cihan Tansoy succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Barışcan Onat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes, Korcan Akpınar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe Sk and the Melikgazi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Fenerbahçe Sk got a freekick which was hit by Korcan Akpınar. Arif Buğra Tefhim came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Melikgazi's Barışcan Onat. But to his dismay, Barışcan Onat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Hıdır Çetinalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Buğra Tefhim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hıdır Çetinalp ran back to his position shaking his head. Arif Buğra Tefhim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barışcan Onat, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cihan Tansoy to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Fenerbahçe Sk booed when Melikgazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kubat Ayazoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barışcan Onat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Arif Buğra Tefhim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Kubat Ayazoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Melikgazi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kubat Ayazoğlu couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Barışcan Onat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Kubat Ayazoğlu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kubat Ayazoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Arif Buğra Tefhim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Kubat Ayazoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arif Buğra Tefhim was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Cihan Tansoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahçe Sk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. If Barışcan Onat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Fenerbahçe Sk's Arif Buğra Tefhim got control of the ball when Barışcan Onat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melikgazi's Kubat Ayazoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barışcan Onat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Göktuğ Sulhi struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Arif Buğra Tefhim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melikgazi. Hamdullah Hafız hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hıdır Çetinalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
