With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Kürşat Üçok prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Selman Özaktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytekin Eyüpoğlu in the 7th minute of play. Burhan Hunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Mahsun Topuz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newac FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED LİONS the free kick. RED LİONS's Selman Özaktuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytekin Eyüpoğlu in the 13th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Ahmet Reha Sadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harun Geçer might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Kürşat Üçok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berkan Başok took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selman Özaktuğ. Selman Özaktuğ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 59th minute, Aytekin Eyüpoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Selman Özaktuğ. RED LİONS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
