Sadri Tayfur started the match with the kick off. Cihan Tansoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Özdemir Tapgaç made a huge save. Cihan Tansoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Özdemir Tapgaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamit Gazzal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cihan Tansoy got free with Özdemir Tapgaç in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Başakşehir SK's goalkeeper Özdemir Tapgaç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamit Gazzal. Başakşehir SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Mümin Yalazan scored to the left of an out of position Özdemir Tapgaç, making the score, 2-0. After 25 played minutes Başakşehir SK got a freekick which was hit by Sadri Tayfur. 26 minutes into the match, Cihan Tansoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Özdemir Tapgaç, 3-0. 29 minutes into the game, Tayyar Tanyel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe Sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Başakşehir SK the free kick. Tayyar Tanyel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, Başakşehir SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şenel Uçarer to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Cihan Tansoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sadri Tayfur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cihan Tansoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özdemir Tapgaç having to interfere. Hamit Gazzal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Özdemir Tapgaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Arif Buğra Tefhim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Başakşehir SK's Özdemir Tapgaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihan Tansoy in the 64th minute of play. Özdemir Tapgaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamit Gazzal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Başakşehir SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cihan Tansoy came free, but Özdemir Tapgaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ahmet İlke Baransel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Başakşehir SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet İlke Baransel couldn't finish the play. Fenerbahçe Sk's Cihan Tansoy managed to work through Başakşehir SK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cihan Tansoy dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ahmet İlke Baransel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Başakşehir SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
