Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) GALATASARAY's Doğuş Yaygır started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Onurhan Temircan made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Bülent Keçili sent off a good shot on target. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Eskihisar's Yiğit Can Saylan in the 6th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Onurhan Temircan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for GALATASARAY through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğuş Yaygır in the 8th minute of play forced Eskihisar's goalkeeper Galip Savtuna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merih Kayrahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Galip Savtuna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Bülent Keçili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eskihisar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bülent Keçili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuş Yaygır couldn't finish the play. Eskihisar's Yiğit Can Saylan got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

56 minutes into the game, Şanver Ergüven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Galip Savtuna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yiğit Can Saylan struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Onurhan Temircan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eskihisar. The supporters of Eskihisar booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şanver Ergüven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onurhan Temircan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiğit Can Saylan in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yiğit Can Saylan in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Onurhan Temircan saved GALATASARAY from getting behind. A hard shot by Mirza Selil from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Galip Savtuna's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Onurhan Temircan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğit Can Saylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galip Savtuna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doğuş Yaygır went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Orhan Geylanoğullarından put in a rough tackle. Onurhan Temircan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bülent Keçili, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Mehmet Ediz Karun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Onurhan Temircan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 98th minute of the match GALATASARAY got a corner. Eskihisar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mirza Selil ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mirza Selil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Galip Savtuna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The GALATASARAY players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
