The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erdoğan Cumhur during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erdoğan Cumhur hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Necdet Aydıntan came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Un-Svadia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necdet Aydıntan couldn't finish the play. If Necdet Aydıntan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Un-Svadia's goal looked a bit too open when Atay Paksu came free, but Behzat Enfa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esenler's Talip Renan got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Un-Svadia's Ogün Akata broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Çeliker Ilımlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Varol Kuntman in the 26th minute of play. Halit Ziya Kuntman hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Necdet Aydıntan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çeliker Ilımlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Sedat Beysan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atay Paksu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Behzat Enfa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Un-Svadia's Ahmet Sedat Beysan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çeliker Ilımlı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sedat Beysan in the 42nd minute of play forced Esenler's goalkeeper Çeliker Ilımlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sinan Ataoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sinan Ataoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atay Paksu made a kick off. Behzat Enfa came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Esenler's Hulusi Ateşoğlu. But to his dismay, Hulusi Ateşoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hulusi Ateşoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Behzat Enfa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ahmet Sedat Beysan came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Un-Svadia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Sedat Beysan couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Varol Kuntman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Esenler's Erdoğan Cumhur tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ahmet Sedat Beysan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çeliker Ilımlı having to interfere. Çeliker Ilımlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Sedat Beysan in the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anıl Cenk Şahinalp got free with Çeliker Ilımlı in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Talip Renan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Sedat Beysan in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çeliker Ilımlı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esenler's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Ahmet Sedat Beysan scored to the left of an out of position Çeliker Ilımlı, making the score, 2-2. Un-Svadia's Necdet Aydıntan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 92 minutes in the game, fortunately Çeliker Ilımlı had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Ahmet Sedat Beysan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Çeliker Ilımlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
