When Hilmi Şahap fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KAFKASYA FK's protests and gave Hilmi Şahap a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KAFKASYA FK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hilmi Şahap hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osman Ali Kutkan in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mirkelam Usberk saved KAFKASYA FK from getting behind. Yüce Umurbay kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Mehmet Oğuz Ersed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mirkelam Usberk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Oğuz Ersed in the 18th minute of play forced KAFKASYA FK's goalkeeper Mirkelam Usberk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osman Ali Kutkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of AYYILDIZSK booed when KAFKASYA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilmi Şahap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirkelam Usberk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osman Ali Kutkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the KAFKASYA FK defense, Mehmet Oğuz Ersed kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mirkelam Usberk. The KAFKASYA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirkelam Usberk should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osman Ali Kutkan to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mehmet Oğuz Ersed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osman Ali Kutkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Oğuz Ersed might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mirkelam Usberk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Oğuz Ersed ran back to his position shaking his head. Mirkelam Usberk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürel Murathan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mehmet Oğuz Ersed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osman Ali Kutkan got free with Mirkelam Usberk in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gürel Murathan charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürel Murathan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in AYYILDIZSK's zone, Muhittin Akoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Ömür Ziver came out of the goal and Muhittin Akoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AYYILDIZSK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Şimşek Satıkbuğra hit a great ball. Mirkelam Usberk made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mehmet Oğuz Ersed sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Ömür Ziver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhittin Akoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AYYILDIZSK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
