When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reşat Birtan made a kick off. Tayyip Eskioğlu's late challenge caught a KaraŞimşek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Kenan Payam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nurettin Başkara was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reşat Birtan in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nurettin Başkara saved Feneryolu from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, KaraŞimşek's goalkeeper Ersan Cemşit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saip Pekşen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenan Payam in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nurettin Başkara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yusuf Tatar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ahmet Gündüz Kadri hit a great ball. Saip Pekşen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 77th playminute. If Kenan Payam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. Feneryolu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KaraŞimşek the free kick. A collision led to Feneryolu getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Semail Saykal hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Reşat Birtan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurettin Başkara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusuf Tatar charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yusuf Tatar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yusuf Tatar kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Feneryolu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
