It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 15th minute, but Erol Müftüoğlu got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Bayat SK hanging dry this time. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bayat SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oğuzhan Sancaktar was slow to take the kick. During this time İkibinonaltı's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Ozan Pamirhan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 19 played minutes Bayat SK got a freekick which was hit by Mansur Şahin. In the 27th match minute, Bayat SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungur Sönmez to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes in the game, Ali Atıf Arıhan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 33 played minutes Bayat SK got a freekick which was hit by Fahrettin Temizöz. Arif Cengiz Humbaracıbaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Erol Müftüoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baransel Asker's late challenge caught a İkibinonaltı's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baransel Asker helped the player get up and apologised. Bayat SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave İkibinonaltı the free kick. In the 75th minute, Fahrettin Temizöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, İkibinonaltı's Arif Cengiz Humbaracıbaşı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erol Müftüoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind İkibinonaltı's goalkeeper Hasret Geylani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Bayat SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Atıf Akaltan came free, but Erol Müftüoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in İkibinonaltı's zone, Muharrem Tuncay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasret Geylani came out of the goal and Muharrem Tuncay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The İkibinonaltı fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bayat SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
