In the 9th minute Şanver Tanak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baturalp Hızarcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baturalp Hızarcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şanver Tanak, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Baturalp Hızarcı was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Şanver Tanak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. After 34 played minutes Ordu Spor got a freekick which was hit by Gencay Piruz. Dinç Baransel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işıkalp Tankan in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enginalp Reşan during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arif Ozan Uğurlubey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nusrettin Ekin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Güngör Kotuzhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dinç Baransel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Işıkalp Tankan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinç Baransel having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Mkj's goal looked a bit too open when Şanver Tanak came free, but Baturalp Hızarcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baturalp Hızarcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkin Aktaşlıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erkin Aktaşlıoğlu scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baturalp Hızarcı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nusrettin Ekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinç Baransel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nusrettin Ekin ran back to his position shaking his head. Sertaç Tuncer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dinç Baransel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Ozan Uğurlubey, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Mkj's goal looked a bit too open when Şanver Tanak came free, but Baturalp Hızarcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Ordu Spor were awarded a corner. Yıldırım Kılıçalp went to the cornerflag to take it. Many of Mkj's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mkj may have spent more time on the ball, but Ordu Spor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
