Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kılıç Baysal started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Akşemseddin İpek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gönen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avgan1905 the free kick. Akşemseddin İpek kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gönen! Nafiz Aydın had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping İskender Aynacıoğlu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gencalp Argun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murat Yalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Aktaç Orkut charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aktaç Orkut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Avgan1905 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Gönen's Nafiz Aydın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Emir Lut in the 16th minute of play. Nafiz Aydın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kılıç Baysal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Gönen's Samim Boysel got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murat Yalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Argun having to interfere. In the 24th minute Umut Usalp suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Efekan Rıfat's late challenge caught a Avgan1905's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efekan Rıfat helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Gönen got a freekick which was hit by Efekan Rıfat. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gönen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! After 32 played minutes Samim Boysel rounded Avgan1905's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. If Murat Yalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Avgan1905's İskender Aynacıoğlu got a free kick in the 37th minute. Gencalp Argun stood somewhat misplaced when Murat Yalman came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 39 minute. Murat Yalman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gencalp Argun made a huge save. Gürcan Uçuk struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gencalp Argun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gönen.

Samim Boysel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gencalp Argun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gönen's Murat Yalman got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gencalp Argun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murat Yalman's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The supporters of Gönen booed when Avgan1905 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahir Eroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murat Yalman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencalp Argun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murat Yalman in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gencalp Argun saved Avgan1905 from getting behind. Murat Yalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Argun having to interfere. Gencalp Argun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samim Boysel in the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Avgan1905 got a freekick which was hit by Mahir Eroğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Yalman in the 71st minute of play forced Avgan1905's goalkeeper Gencalp Argun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Murat Yalman came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Gönen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murat Yalman couldn't finish the play. Murat Yalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murat Yalman took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gencalp Argun. Gencalp Argun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 84 minutes of play, Gönen's Murat Yalman made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gencalp Argun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute Murat Yalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencalp Argun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gencalp Argun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Yalman in the 92nd minute of the match. When Gürcan Uçuk came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Gönen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürcan Uçuk couldn't finish the play. Murat Yalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gönen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
