In the 19th minute Arif Ozan Uğurlubey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Işık Teren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güngör Kotuzhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Işık Teren having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Nusrettin Ekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mkj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nusrettin Ekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nusrettin Ekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Işık Teren having to interfere. Işık Teren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusrettin Ekin in the 34th minute of play. Işık Teren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nusrettin Ekin in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of deliler booed when Mkj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işıkalp Tankan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Mkj were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nusrettin Ekin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Ege Adak hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Güngör Kotuzhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nusrettin Ekin in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Işık Teren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Işık Teren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güngör Kotuzhan in the 70th minute of the match. With his leg Işık Teren managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Mkj's Nusrettin Ekin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Işıkalp Tankan in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Işık Teren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Işıkalp Tankan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Işık Teren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Işık Teren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Ozan Uğurlubey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, deliler's goal looked a bit too open when Nusrettin Ekin came free, but Işık Teren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mkj were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after deliler's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nusrettin Ekin took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Sertaç Tuncer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Nusrettin Ekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind deliler's goalkeeper Işık Teren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in deliler's zone, Işıkalp Tankan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Işık Teren came out of the goal and Işıkalp Tankan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arif Ozan Uğurlubey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Işık Teren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Işıkalp Tankan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Işık Teren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mkj.
