Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Giresunspor's Celal Savni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Cengiz Akçan in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şevket Kantara saved Giresunspor from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cengiz Akçan in the 4th minute of play forced Giresunspor's goalkeeper Şevket Kantara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Burdur JK got a freekick which was hit by Neşat Umut. In the 10th minute Ali Cengiz Akçan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şevket Kantara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Cengiz Akçan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şevket Kantara made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sadettin Süngü sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Burdur JK booed when Giresunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Mücahit Nurbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Neşat Umut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sadettin Süngü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Şevket Kantara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şevket Kantara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cengiz Akçan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th play minute Sadettin Süngü came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Şevket Kantara. 2-0. Ali Cengiz Akçan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Şevket Kantara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sadettin Süngü kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 45thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Giresunspor's keeper Şevket Kantara was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 46 minutes, Eyüp Otaç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giresunspor and the Burdur JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Giresunspor got a freekick which was hit by Eyüp Otaç. If Ali Cengiz Akçan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ali Cengiz Akçan made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Celal Savni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alican Öztürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sadettin Süngü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Şevket Kantara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Giresunspor getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Turgut Taşdan hit a great ball. Sadettin Süngü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Cengiz Akçan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Şevket Kantara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Neşat Umut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burdur JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neşat Umut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Burdur JK's Ali Cengiz Akçan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şevket Kantara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Burdur JK's Sadettin Süngü got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Sadettin Süngü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şevket Kantara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ali Cengiz Akçan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burdur JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Cengiz Akçan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şevket Kantara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Burdur JK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
