After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ali Cengiz Akçan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burdur JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Cengiz Akçan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baturalp Hızarcı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Işıkalp Tankan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alican Öztürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nusrettin Ekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes Mkj got a freekick which was hit by Kadim Işınsu. When Seyfi Dalan fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burdur JK's protests and gave Seyfi Dalan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mkj booed when Burdur JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfi Dalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mkj getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kadim Işınsu hit a great ball. Nusrettin Ekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alican Öztürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nusrettin Ekin ran back to his position shaking his head. Sadettin Süngü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Baturalp Hızarcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nusrettin Ekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alican Öztürk having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, Mustafa Necati Elmas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alican Öztürk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nusrettin Ekin. Alican Öztürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güngör Kotuzhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Ali Cengiz Akçan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mkj's Arif Ozan Uğurlubey got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Sadettin Süngü could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Baturalp Hızarcı however easily saved by the left post. If Güngör Kotuzhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nusrettin Ekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alican Öztürk having to make a save. Mustafa Necati Elmas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nusrettin Ekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alican Öztürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nusrettin Ekin ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sadettin Süngü got free with Baturalp Hızarcı in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ant Tanbey made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Seyfi Dalan immediately put the ball in play. Baturalp Hızarcı made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Sadettin Süngü sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nusrettin Ekin in the 90th minute of play forced Burdur JK's goalkeeper Alican Öztürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mkj manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Burdur JK to win.
