Spectators: 6802 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1350, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kılıç Baysal started the match with the kick off. Gürhan Acarbey hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Arkın Uğur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ömür Sufi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, one of Avgan1905:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Avgan1905. After 25 minutes, Reis Özgebay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avgan1905 and the Ünyespor1957 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Avgan1905 got a freekick which was hit by Reis Özgebay. Karadeniz Dilercan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ünyespor1957's Uluç Tacir got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uluç Tacir to make the kick off. When Uluç Tacir came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ünyespor1957 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uluç Tacir couldn't finish the play. Karadeniz Dilercan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmet Oğuz Erşahin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gencalp Argun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ünyespor1957. If Reis Özgebay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Ünyespor1957 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulbaki Batı to maneuver through the defense. Aktaç Orkut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anıl Baran Uraz. Ünyespor1957's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Uluç Tacir had several of the Avgan1905's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Gencalp Argun as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Uluç Tacir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the game, Gürhan Acarbey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ünyespor1957's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avgan1905 the free kick. Gürhan Acarbey kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Reis Özgebay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ünyespor1957 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
