The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Battal Gazi Ersevim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Deniz Özakıncı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDIOS CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, AYG SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya came free, but Necaettin Rebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaser Sadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hakkı Deniz Özakıncı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, INDIOS CF's goalkeeper Hakkı Deniz Özakıncı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baybars Kutsel. After having played for 29 minutes, Battal Gazi Ersevim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AYG SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Gazi Ersevim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yaser Sadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Deniz Özakıncı having to interfere. Suavi Vefakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AYG SK's Necaettin Rebi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya in the 40th minute of play. Battal Gazi Ersevim struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Hakkı Deniz Özakıncı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AYG SK. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yaser Sadi made a kick off. After 54 played minutes INDIOS CF got a freekick which was hit by Alim Gülerce. After a defensive mix-up in AYG SK's zone, Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necaettin Rebi came out of the goal and Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya's late challenge caught a AYG SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hakkı Deniz Özakıncı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baybars Kutsel in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Suavi Vefakar managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDIOS CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Suavi Vefakar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necaettin Rebi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the game, INDIOS CF's Suavi Vefakar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Necaettin Rebi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Suavi Vefakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Necaettin Rebi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suavi Vefakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute Alim Gülerce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin Rebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaser Sadi scored 1-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakkı Deniz Özakıncı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Necaettin Rebi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the last second Necaettin Rebi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ömer Rıza Yalçınkaya in the 97thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
