In the 42nd minute Batıhan Kenan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Çağrı Zübeyr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Çağrı Zübeyr came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Damal's Batıhan Kenan. But to his dismay, Batıhan Kenan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Batıhan Kenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Batıhan Kenan made a kick off. Rıfat Onuk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bektaş Veli Erçin went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ali Çağrı Zübeyr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batıhan Kenan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Arif Tugay Seyran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uygur Ayıkoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of GalataSaray FK booed when Damal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metehan Akoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Songurhan Yıldıray hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Batıhan Kenan came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Damal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batıhan Kenan couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GalataSaray FK had won after a very even match.
