Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Savaşer Kerimhan kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute GALATASARAY were awarded a corner. Mithat Tor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Mithat Tor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jack Dempsey's Kubilay İlhanoğlu did a great save. GALATASARAY's Halim Özyurt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. Tamer Ruşen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Halim Özyurt came out and tried to block the shot, but Tamer Ruşen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. If Ali Okatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tamer Ruşen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kubilay İlhanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürcan Uğurtay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erim Tanak came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the GALATASARAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erim Tanak couldn't finish the play. Halim Özyurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tamer Ruşen in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Halim Özyurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Okatan. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Halim Özyurt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tamer Ruşen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamer Ruşen in the 51st minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Halim Özyurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baki Sebati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Halim Özyurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Okatan in the 54th minute of play. Tamer Ruşen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halim Özyurt having to interfere. Kubilay İlhanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savaşer Kerimhan in the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Jack Dempsey got a freekick which was hit by Orkun Zübeyr. After a rather tough play, Jack Dempsey's Demircan Serdaroğlu got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Jack Dempsey's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erim Tanak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 73 minutes in the game, Savaşer Kerimhan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kubilay İlhanoğlu having to interfere. Tamer Ruşen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halim Özyurt having to interfere. In the 79th minute Ali Okatan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Özyurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ali Okatan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY's Halim Özyurt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Okatan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Orkun Zübeyr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jack Dempsey's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
