Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Savaşer Kerimhan started the match with the kick off. Batıhan Kenan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Halim Özyurt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Halim Özyurt stood somewhat misplaced when Batıhan Kenan came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. Rıfat Onuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erim Tanak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damal's Rıfat Onuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erim Tanak in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Ahmet Oğuz Sidar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Damal and the GALATASARAY players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rıfat Onuk came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by GALATASARAY's Erim Tanak. But to his dismay, Erim Tanak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 28th minute, Ediz Gaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erim Tanak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rıfat Onuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Ediz Gaza came free, but Halim Özyurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute Batıhan Kenan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Özyurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batıhan Kenan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halim Özyurt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Rıfat Onuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savaşer Kerimhan in the 65th minute of play. Halim Özyurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediz Gaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Ediz Gaza came free, but Halim Özyurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Savaşer Kerimhan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rıfat Onuk, 1-2. 74 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Ediz Gaza came free, but Halim Özyurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Altay Ereken. Halim Özyurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batıhan Kenan in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Batıhan Kenan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of GALATASARAY's Halim Özyurt. Halim Özyurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Savaşer Kerimhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Savaşer Kerimhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rıfat Onuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Erim Tanak could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Rıfat Onuk however easily saved by the left post.
