The referee ignored Gölyaka JK's protests and gave Ahmet Boran Kıncal a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the game, one of Gölyaka JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 25 played minutes Besiktas FK got a freekick which was hit by Aktan Uğurcan. Demircan Erkılıç was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Cabbar Dilsafa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selmi Vahap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cabbar Dilsafa in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Fatih Coşar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayyam Uluman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Şefik İlkut hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Atahan Gürçınar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hayyam Uluman was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Gölyaka JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cabbar Dilsafa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gölyaka JK's Hayyam Uluman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Gölyaka JK from getting a goal against them. The Besiktas FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Besiktas FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
