After having played for 7 minutes, Kartal Tekecan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niğde Akrepgücü SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kartal Tekecan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Niğde Akrepgücü SK's zone, Korhan Kayan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yücel Kerimhan came out of the goal and Korhan Kayan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Korhan Kayan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Numan Tanalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kutlay Denizalp came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Niğde Akrepgücü SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutlay Denizalp couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Niğde Akrepgücü SK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Aral Özden hit a great ball. Mustafa Numan Tanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ali Atıf Şahtürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Numan Tanalp in the 31st minute. After 34 played minutes Gölpazari SK got a freekick which was hit by Cebrail Özakın. If Kutlay Denizalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Ali Atıf Şahtürk managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Niğde Akrepgücü SK's Mustafa Numan Tanalp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ali Atıf Şahtürk made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Kutlay Denizalp sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Korhan Kayan to make the kick off. Mustafa Numan Tanalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Atıf Şahtürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Kutlay Denizalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mustafa Numan Tanalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Atıf Şahtürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Niğde Akrepgücü SK's Mustafa Numan Tanalp made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
