In the 7th match minute, Anadolu Devrimspor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğukan Ankara to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Aras Tekke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuratay Uygan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Anadolu Devrimspor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Zeki Sabih came free, but Nuratay Uygan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cicikuş were furious when Nurettin Boranalp was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a defensive mix-up in Cicikuş's zone, Rıfkı Kunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Tarkan Taran came out of the goal and Rıfkı Kunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zeki Sabih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cicikuş booed when Anadolu Devrimspor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğukan Ankara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeki Sabih scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuratay Uygan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 35 minutes, Zeki Sabih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cicikuş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeki Sabih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuratay Uygan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeki Sabih in the 37th minute of the match. When Ardahan Reşan came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Cicikuş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ardahan Reşan couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Zeki Sabih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuratay Uygan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeki Sabih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nuratay Uygan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilla Tarkan Taran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sedat Türkol in the 44th minute. A collision led to Cicikuş getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Turgay Temur hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zeki Sabih made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Anadolu Devrimspor Kulübü's zone, Zeki Sabih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuratay Uygan came out of the goal and Zeki Sabih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Ardahan Reşan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cicikuş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ardahan Reşan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atak Taşcan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Ardahan Reşan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeki Sabih might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuratay Uygan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeki Sabih ran back to his position shaking his head. Atilla Tarkan Taran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sedat Türkol in the 72nd minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Anadolu Devrimspor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Rıfkı Kunt. If Sedat Türkol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilla Tarkan Taran came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Anadolu Devrimspor Kulübü's Ahmet Refik Ünsevin. But to his dismay, Ahmet Refik Ünsevin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Zeki Sabih might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuratay Uygan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeki Sabih ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuratay Uygan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celalettin Buminhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Anadolu Devrimspor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Zeki Sabih came free, but Nuratay Uygan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuratay Uygan came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Cicikuş's Celalettin Buminhan. But to his dismay, Celalettin Buminhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. In the 91st minute of the match, Celalettin Buminhan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuratay Uygan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zeki Sabih blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuratay Uygan having to make a save. Cicikuş's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
