To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Muhammet Kamuran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Recep Talha İncili. Muhammet Kamuran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Müjdat Uluçkan during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Şener Kayrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Refik Geçim in the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muhammet Kamuran in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Recep Talha İncili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Raik Keçeli made the kick off in the second half. Sinan Sani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Recep Talha İncili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammet Kamuran, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 69th minute, Ahmet Refik Geçim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raik Keçeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 played minutes Sungurlu got a freekick which was hit by Tayyip Erensoy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raik Keçeli in the 81st minute of play forced Mengen SK's goalkeeper Şener Kayrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Recep Talha İncili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinan Sani, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mengen SK's Muhammet Kamuran got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Recep Talha İncili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammet Kamuran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mengen SK's Cihat Suha got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ahmet Refik Geçim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şener Kayrak having to interfere. Sinan Sani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Talha İncili having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mengen SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sungurlu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
