Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Beşiktaş's Orhan Veli Ülger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Işık Kaman came free, but Vahdet Pekalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vahdet Pekalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Edelmiro Harri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beşiktaş's Vahdet Pekalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Edelmiro Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cekerek's Cebrail Taib got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edelmiro Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vahdet Pekalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Edelmiro Harri in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Edelmiro Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vahdet Pekalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Harri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Işık Kaman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cekerek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Işık Kaman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Edelmiro Harri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahdet Pekalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Işık Kaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edelmiro Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahdet Pekalp having to interfere. The supporters of Cekerek booed when Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Veli Ülger didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Harri was the one to do the kick off. Beşiktaş's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Edelmiro Harri scored to the left of an out of position Vahdet Pekalp, making the score, 0-2. Tevfik Ayçetin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Cekerek got a freekick which was hit by Çelebi Karadeniz. Edelmiro Harri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Işık Kaman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vahdet Pekalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Harri in the 92nd minute of the match. Beşiktaş's Vahdet Pekalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Harri in the 95th minute of play.
