When Kuddusî Yağızer came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the ULTRAASLAN SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuddusî Yağızer couldn't finish the play. Altan Sadan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuddusî Yağızer's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Baybora Zikri kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Kuddusî Yağızer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kuddusî Yağızer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Altan Sadan was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Altan Sadan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuddusî Yağızer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İsmail Hakkı Reca made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Evren Dürüst sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necat Uğurtay was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Macit Tutku mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ULTRAASLAN SK and the TÜRK YURDU players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of ULTRAASLAN SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TÜRK YURDU:s goal. Savaşer Taşel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Altan Sadan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Savaşer Taşel in the 76th minute. With a little luck, TÜRK YURDU's Altan Sadan got control of the ball when Savaşer Taşel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Akın Talayman hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. İsmail Hakkı Reca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evren Dürüst went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Savaşer Taşel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Altan Sadan was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. ULTRAASLAN SK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because TÜRK YURDU had won, even though ULTRAASLAN SK had held more of the ball.
