The supporters of Bulancak booed when Tercan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cengizhan Yatuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Bulancak's Batu Cem Özbala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bulancak's Melik Yazır got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ahmet Sedat Özerdinc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bahattin Orgun having to make a save. Orhun Zabit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Sedat Özerdinc to make the kick off. Bahattin Orgun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Sedat Özerdinc, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Fikret Abay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhun Zabit in the 54th minute of the match. If Orhun Zabit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fikret Abay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batu Cem Özbala in the 96th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
