Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alpay Uluerkan took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Can Şehzade in the 4th minute of play forced Ankaragücü's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Nafiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Battal Gazi Nafiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songurhan Çile in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Songurhan Çile in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Battal Gazi Nafiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Songurhan Çile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Songurhan Çile in the 18th minute of play forced Ankaragücü's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Nafiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hasan Can Şehzade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Berk Gürgen, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alpay Uluerkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Çelebi Yertan was a little too slow when Aycan Türkol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ankaragücü's Aycan Türkol got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 41st minute Hasan Can Şehzade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Gazi Nafiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çeliker Kutluay kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ankaragücü's Alpay Uluerkan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Çelebi Yertan. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Songurhan Çile made the kick off in the second half. Hasan Can Şehzade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Battal Gazi Nafiz made a huge save. Hasan Can Şehzade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Gazi Nafiz having to interfere. A collision led to Ankaragücü getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aycan Türkol hit a great ball. Battal Gazi Nafiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songurhan Çile in the 66th minute of the match. Çeliker Kutluay was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 75 played minutes Mardin got a freekick which was hit by Çeliker Kutluay. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Can Şehzade got free with Battal Gazi Nafiz in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Hasan Can Şehzade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Ankaragücü's Alpay Uluerkan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Çelebi Yertan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Mardin's goal looked a bit too open when Okaner Bozok came free, but Arif Çelebi Yertan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Hasan Can Şehzade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 93 minutes, Hasan Can Şehzade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mardin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Can Şehzade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mardin's Hasan Can Şehzade got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
