Peyami Türel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Ali Özdurdu went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Peyami Türel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahattin Pamir in the 9th minute of play. When Edremit SK's Ahmet Ali Özdurdu in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dinamo Plovdiv's goalie prevented a goal. After 12 played minutes Dinamo Plovdiv got a freekick which was hit by Berat Ongu. Berat Ongu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Arif Nihat Ülküm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Plovdiv. Peyami Türel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ali Özdurdu in the 19th minute of the match. Bahattin Pamir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denizhan Tokyüz during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denizhan Tokyüz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Berat Ongu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. After the first half Edremit SK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berat Ongu was the one to do the kick off. Boğaç Kıncal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th match minute, Dinamo Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tan Kazak to maneuver through the defense. Bahattin Pamir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyami Türel having to interfere. Peyami Türel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahattin Pamir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boğaç Kıncal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berat Ongu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Arif Nihat Ülküm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berat Ongu in the 76th minute of play forced Edremit SK's goalkeeper Arif Nihat Ülküm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anıl Berk Dolunay kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Boğaç Kıncal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Nihat Ülküm. Edremit SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boğaç Kıncal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Ali Özdurdu got free with Peyami Türel in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ali Özdurdu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Peyami Türel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Boğaç Kıncal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo Plovdiv's supporters rose to their feet, but Boğaç Kıncal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Nihat Ülküm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berat Ongu might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Nihat Ülküm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berat Ongu ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bahattin Pamir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edremit SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahattin Pamir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peyami Türel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Edremit SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dinamo Plovdiv throughout the match.
