With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asrın Okan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhat Yazargil in the 28th minute of play forced Hisarönü's goalkeeper Asrın Okan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarkan Akyazı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abay Temizkanoğlu having to interfere. Asrın Okan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğa Çalkın, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Haldun Recep came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Merinos JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haldun Recep couldn't finish the play.
